Purple Romero covers the judiciary beat and also reports about climate change and the environment. For her expertise on the judiciary, she is referred to as Justice Romero in the newsroom. She holds numerous awards for journalism and was part of the research team behind the book "Shadow of Doubt," an investigative account on the Philippine judiciary. She is also a co-author of "The Seven Deadly Deals," a book on the Arroyo legacy of corruption.

Purple graduated in 2007 with an AB Broadcast Journalism degree from the De La Salle University-Dasmariñas. She hopes to start her own adventures soon, preferably in places where democracy remains only a dream.
