Sprout Solutions is Rappler’s newest HR partner

MANILA, Philippines – Sprout Solutions is now Rappler’s official automated HR and payroll services provider.

The local software company was a sponsor at the Innovation+Social Good Summit, which was held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila last September 26.

Sprout Solution’s Managing Director, Patrick Gentry, appeared at the morning plenary to discuss the use of technology in addressing key concerns in the HR industry: Managing payroll systems; and automating deductions and contributions to government channels such as the BIR, SSS, Pag-Ibig, and Philhealth.

During his speech, Sprout’s Managing Director Patrick Gentry emphasized that the problem lies not in the lack of technology, but in the inability of existing software programs used by private companies and the government to “talk to each other.” For Gentry, the solution is to improve integration of government systems into private tools, as well increased public and private sector cooperation.
