MANILA, Philippines – Compared to the world that our parents grew up in, ours seems much busier and often more complex.

During the holiday season, lines have become longer and bigger in shopping malls, transportation hubs, and other commercial areas. During long weekends, overcrowding is not uncommon at popular tourist destinations. On top of all that, there’s the heavy traffic that we have to deal with on a daily basis.

Despite all of these inconveniences, people do still go out and enjoy life’s daily activities – not just for themselves, but for their loved ones. But in the midst of these public circumstances, safety is becoming a more important consideration. In the context of today’s world, isn’t it always better to be prepared?
