Sinulog 2016: Cebu City road closures

CEBU CITY, Philippines – Roads will be closed and traffic will be rerouted between January 15 and 17 for the 36th annual celebration of Sinulog, the Cebu City Transportation Office announced.

January 15

4:00 am – Osmena Boulevard from Fuente Osmeña to Plaza Independencia due to Walk with Mary activity

7:00 am – Traslacion of Santo Niño and Our Lady of Guadalupe to St Joseph Parish in Mandaue City

Roads will not be closed but expect traffic disruption. After the motorcade has passed, traffic will be back to normal.

The roads are the following:

• Jakosalem St.
• General Maxilom (Mangoi) Avenue
• Gorordo Avenue (from corner Escario up to Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepcion)
• Govenor Cuenco Ave. (from Gorordo Avenue junction up to A. S. Fortuna Street junction)
• AS Fortuna Street and Extension
• Roads around St Joseph Parish
