The “Sexual Health: Shout or Shush?” video contest was organized to encourage young Filipinos to speak their thoughts about anything and everything related to sexual health. In October 2012, over twenty young Filipinos sent in their videos and shared their questions, feelings and worries. In January 2013, over 5000 people voted for the winners on Facebook and YouTube.

Online voting has now ended.

Garnering 2,175 votes on Facebook and 28 on YouTube, the first prize winner of the “Sexual Health: Shout or Shush?” video contest is Rafael Manzano II with his entry, “Kabataan, Gising Na!” He will be awarded Php 25,000 cash, a trophy and a certificate.

Finishing in second place is Axel Santos, with 1,900 votes on Facebook and 89 on YouTube, with his entry, “Piko at Tirador”.

The third prize goes to “SH: Alam Mo Na Ba?” by Rodinah Pongan, with 681 votes on Facebook and 41 on YouTube. The second and third place winners will receive Php 10,000 and Php 5,000 respectively, as well as trophies and certificates.
