Applications open for Ateneo’s A-Hacks 2015 hackathon

MANILA, Philippines – With Ateneo Management Information Systems Association celebrating its 20th year and in partnership with 8Layer Technologies Inc. and the Ateneo Department of Information Systems and Computer Science, the organization aims to promote the culture of I.T. by hosting its first ever hackathon: A-Hacks 2015 #Hackstrong.

The event will be open to undergraduate university students to be held on January 10, 2015, 8:00 am to January 11, 2015 8:00 pm. The objective is to gather undergraduate students from all over the National Capital Region to make use of their programming knowledge in creating programs and applications that will help promote social development.

Teams will be composed of 3-5 students (unlimited teams per university) and must submit an application form December 1, 2014 to December 14, 2014. Application forms will be reviewed by the organizing committee and results for accepted participants will be released on December 19, 2014.
