MANILA, Philippines – The UP Economics Society and the UP Underground Music Community along with EasyShop.ph, Jennyfer, Parfois, and Monster Energy, in cooperation with Wacoal, and Sorci and official radio partner 99.5 Play FM bring you ROOTS 2015 Music Festival, a benefit concert to be held on February 11, 2014, Wednesday, at the UP Diliman Sunken Garden as part of the prestigious UP Fair.

Featuring performances from Kamikazee, Urbandub, Franco, Itchyworms, Ebe Dancel, Pupil, Typecast, Ang Bandang Shirley, Bullet Dumas, The Sun Manager, Ourselves the Elves, Pastilan Dong, Shirebound and Busking, Extrapolation, Specterull, With Fingers Crossed and The After-School Special.  

Back for the 3rd time around, the Roots Music Festival has catered to more than 10,000 avid concertgoers and music lovers alike. Undeniably, the Roots is known to be one of the nights of the UP Fair with the most interesting lineup.

Established back in 2013, the UP Underground Music Community came up with the Roots Franchise. Their team was only made up of a few people back then but they were able to produce such big results. Given its success they decided to bring it back the following year, this time teaming up with the UP Economics Society, a socio-civic organization. Expect a night filled with music, food, fun, and perhaps even love.
