MANILA, Philippines – Students from two of the top law schools in the country are set to take on the merits of medical marijuana at the House of Representatives, where a measure to legalize it is currently pending.

“The Law and Policy Debate: An Inter-university Dialogue” is an interactive exhibition debate featuring the best and brightest student debaters from the Ateneo de Manila University Law School and the University of Sto. Tomas Law School.

The two debate teams will argue the motion: Let it be resolved that medical marijuana should be legalized in the Philippines (House Bill No. 4477).

It will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, from 1 pm to 4 pm, in the House Minority Conference Room, North Wing Basement at the House of Representatives in the Batasang Pambansa Complex, Quezon City.
