Mr Philippines finishes 2nd at Mister World 2013

MANILA, Philippines - Mr Philippines Andrew Wolff finished second at the Mr. World 2013 final held in Kent, United Kingdom Saturday evening, November 24 (Nov 25 in Manila). 21 year-old Francisco Parra of Colombia took home the title. Ireland was 3rd.

This is the first time Colombia won the title since the Mr. World pageant was first held in 1996. The pageant is organized by the same people behind Miss World. Previous winners include Belgium (1996), Venezuela (1998), Uruguay (2000), Brazil (2003), Spain (2007), and Ireland (2010).

27-year-old Wolff is a model and professional rugby player - he is a memeber of the Philippine Volcanoes which qualified for the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens Final in Moscow. His mother Dorina Penaflorida is from Mindoro. Wolff was a Computer Engineering student at Bristol University in the United Kingdom when he visited the Philippines in 2004, he stayed on to work as a model.

The Top 10 finalists were Vietnam, Philippines, Canada, Ireland, Croatia, Peru, Belgium, Colombia, England, Lebanon.
