MANILA, Philippines - Zia Quizon came out as the big winner at the 25th Awit Awards held at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City on November 27.
Zia brought home two top awards: Best Performance by a Female Recording Artist and Best Performance by a New Female Recording Artist.
Her song Ako Na Lang, composed by Jungee Marcelo, was also named Song of the Year.
Her father Dolphy was given a posthumous Dangal ng Musikang Pilipino award.
Other recepients of the award were Regine Velasquez, Gary Granada, The Eraserheads and Kuh Ledesma.
