MANILA, Philippines - The ongoing 121212 Concert in Madison Square Garden, New York for the benefit of Hurricane Sandy victims could be "the biggest fundraiser ever" according to weather.com.

The sold-out concert is being streamed on digital billboards in New York, Paris and London. Live streaming is also ongoing in websites such as manlapan.patch.com as well as other websites listed in the 121212concert.org website.

Among the performers are Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, Kanye West, The Who and Paul McCartney.

Other artists will be announced as the concert happens.

Producers of the concert are Clear Channel Entertainment, the Weinstein Company and Madison Square Gardens Company.

According to weather.com, proceeds and donations from the concert will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund. More than 130 people were killed when Sandy hit the east coast last October. More are still homeless in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. - Rappler.com
