MANILA, Philippines – Filipinos love Korean and Thai stars so just imagine the droves of screaming fans when a half-Thai K-Pop star invades Manila.

Nichkhun, member of Korean boy band 2PM, broke the news on his Twitter account that he is bound for Manila to perform a concert and endorse the clothing apparel Bench.

The singer said that he is looking forward to meet his Filipino fans and also, “to see my Bench billboard.”

He follows the footsteps of another Korean celebrity who also endorsed the local fashion brand, Lee Min Ho

The 24-year-old Thai-Chinese actor-singer is a member of the Korean boy group, 2PM, which is also set to hold a concert at the Mall of Asia on March 2 as part of its “What time is it” live tour.

He also recently starred in the Thai film “7 Something,” where he portrayed a twenty-something marathon runner sparking a change to a 42-year old woman’s life.

Unlike fellow Bench endorser Lee Min Ho, Nichkhun can speak English fluently, being born and raised in the US.

He studied Korean when he signed as trainee under JYP Entertainment in 2005 before debuting as a member of 2PM 3 years after.
