MANILA, Philippines - As the 2013 awards season draws to a close with the 85th Oscar Awards on Sunday, February 24 (Monday, February 25 Manila time), the 28th annual Film Independent Spirit Awards was held on February 23 (February 24 Manila time) at a Santa Monica beach tent in California.

"Saturday Night Live" alumnus Andy Samberg hosted the luncheon gala.
