MANILA, Philippines - On March 4, comedienne Ethel Booba poured her anger on Twitter after being scolded by TV host Willie Revillame in an on-air tirade last February 28 on “Wowowillie,” a variety show she co-hosted with him.

Revillame told off Ethel and another host, Ate Gay, for complaining about not winning the show’s costume contest. He emphasized that he was their employer and that the two should show him respect. He then dared Booba to resign from the show, a dare which she has taken on.

Replying to a Twitter follower who asked if she was leaving Revillame’s show, she tweeted: “Hindi na talaga [ako babalik]. Sana maintindihan nyo rin ako, masyadong nayurakan ang pagkatao ko (I will really not return. I hope you also understand me. My dignity has been offended too much).”

She replied to another follower that she does not have a contract with Revillame, something which she is thankful for.

In previous tweets, she seemed to refer to the incident without naming or tagging anyone.

She tweeted, “Closing some doors today not because of pride, incapacity or arrogance but simply because they lead you nowhere. – Paolo Coelho”

Later on, she tweeted, “Honesty, trust, respect and communication are the most important factors in any kind of relationship.”

On March 2, she replied to a tweet from Ate Gay, the other object of Revillame’s ire:
