MANILA, Philippines - The first person to be eliminated from the American Idol season 12 Top 10 is Curtis Finch Jr.

On March 13 (March 14 MNL), Finch performed "I Believe" by former Idol contestant Fantasia. The theme for the night was "Music of the American Idols."

Gossip Cop reports that even if Finch received a standing ovation from the judges with his performance, he received the lowest number of votes from the viewers, as revealed on March 14 (March 15 MNL).

Hoping for a save from the judges, Finch performed "I Believe I Can Fly." But the judges were not unanimous about "saving" him.

After the March 13 and 14 episodes (March 14 and 15 MNL), the top 3 are:

• Angie Miller
