Karylle and Yael Yuzon tie the knot

MANILA, Philippines – It’s official.

Singer-actress Karylle married Sponge Cola lead vocalist Yael Yuzon in an afternoon ceremony attended by family and friends at the San Antonio de Padua Church in Silang, Cavite.

Karylle’s It’s Showtime co-host Jugs Jugueta posted a photo of him together with the newlyweds.

“Congrats @anakarylle & @yaelyraz!!!” he wrote.

Jugueta also posted another photo which includes the newlyweds and the It’s Showtime group.

Actress Anne Curtis along with TV host Tim Yap stood as the veil sponsor also congratulated the two, posting a photo of the couple’s kiss.

Wearing a vintage-inspired gown, Karylle was accompanied by her parents Dr. Modesto Tatlonghari and mother, singer-actress Zsa Zsa Padilla. It was one of the rare moments that the former couple have been seen together.

Comedian and co-host Vice Ganda was also present to see his good friend walk down the aisle.

Days prior to the ceremony, the couple announced their wedding entourage which was published in The Philippine Star. The couple has 21 principal sponsors which includes Karylle’s It’s Showtime co-host Kim Atienza. Groomsmen included Armo Armovit, Niles Chong, Tedmark Cruz, Gosh Dilay, JP Mateo, Robin Nievera, JayR Sillona, Saul Ulanday, Gian Carlo Vizcarra and Sidney Yap.

Bridesmaids included Ysabel Yuzon, Gaki Azurin-Sanchez and Izadora Calzado, Reg Geotina, Divine Lee and Kim Marvilla.

Secondary sponsors included Yong Larrazabal and Donna Yrastorza-Larrazabal (candle) and Gino Quillamor and Tin Gamboa for cord.
