MANILA, Philippines - The first day of comedy king Dolphy's wake began at the Heritage Memorial Park and ended at the theater built in his name.

Dozens of camera crews followed the hearse carrying the body of Rodolfo Vera Quizon as it made its way first to his family's home in Parañaque and later to broadcast station ABS-CBN in Quezon City, where the actor spent several of his 6 decades in show business.

His body will be transferred again to the Heritage Memorial Park on Thursday, July 12, for the beginning of what is expected to be one of the country's most well-attended public viewings. - Rappler.com
