WATCH: Katniss preps for battle in new ‘Mockingjay’ trailer

MANILA, Philippines – A new official trailer for the upcoming ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1’ trailer has funs buzzing with excitement. 

The previous teaser gave more insight on what life is like in District 13, but didn’t linger on our favorite characters. This time, we get more Katniss – including shots of her testing out her brand new weapon from Beetee and making some important demands to the leaders of District 13. 

There’s plenty to see in this trailer, including glimpses of a more subdued Effie Trinket, the affable Caesar Flickerman, Peeta, Haymitch, Gayle, Beetee, and Finnick Odair. New faces, including Natalie Dormer as film director Cressida, are also featured. 

Watch for a chilling (and chilly) exchange between the manipulative President Snow and Katniss. 

“Miss Everdeen – it’s the things we love most that destroy us,” he warns her. 

Mockingjay follows the events of the first two movies, The Hunger Games, andThe Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The poorer districts of Panem, ruled by the excessive and image-driven citizens of the Capitol, have begun to rear up in rebellion, with the rebel base located at District 13, under the leadership of Alma Coin. – Rappler.com
