MANILA, Philippines – A washed-up actor tries to revive his career through a Broadway production. A stolen police droid learns to think and feel for himself. Birdman and CHAPPiE lead this week of movies at the cinemas.

The Oscars 2015 Best Picture winner tells the story of a washed-up actor who wants to regain his career by producing, writing, directing, and starring in his own play.
