WATCH: Ariana Grande releases music video for new song ‘Focus’

MANILA, Philippines – Hey Arianators, Ariana Grande dropped a new single on Friday, October 30, and debuted her new platinum blonde hair in the music video too.

“Focus” has a similar feel to the catchy beat of “Problem,” and features the singer’s usual strong, sultry vocals. The purple-themed video has Ariana in her signature half-up ‘do and winged eyeliner dancing to the song.

After counting down the hours before its release on Twitter, Ariana surprised her fans by releasing the single an hour early.

She released the music video an hour later.

Five days before its release, Ariana was already teasing the video and single on her social media accounts.

According to Billboard, “Focus” is the first single on Ariana’s next album, due out in 2016. She’ll also be performing the song live for the first time at the “Ariana Grande World Premiere Event On The Honda Stage“ at the iHeartRadio Theater LA.

The 2016 album will be her 3rd, but she’s also done covers and collaborated with other artists in recent years.

Ariana recently wowed Philippine audiences when she was in Manila for her Honeymoon Tour in August.
