Jason Mraz to return to Manila for 2014 concert

MANILA, Philippines – American singer Jason Mraz is coming to Manila once again to perform for his fans at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on November 27. This is the fourth time the singer will performing in the country, having visited way back in 2006.

The singer, known for songs such “The Remedy,” “You and I,” and “I won’t Give Up” will once again delight Filipino fans especially with the release of his fifth (and first acoustic) album YES last July.

The singer has received two Grammy Awards, a Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters ‘ Hall of Fame, and nominations from the Teen Circle Choice Award and People’s Choice Award.

Since the launch of his album YES, which he recorded with Los Angeles-based folk-rock band Raining Jane, the album has debuted at number 1 in 46 countries. 

Aside from being a singer and recording artist, Jason is also active in various philanthropic efforts for the environment and the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) equality. In 2009, he was awarded the Missions in Music Award by the Environmental Media , and in 2012 was invited to speak the Climate Reality Fact-Finding Expedition to Antarctica by former US Vice President Al Gore.

With his various causes and his music, expect an exciting night with Jason Mraz when he lands back in the country.
