MANILA, Philippines – Rapper Kid Cudi was announced as headliner of local outdoor indie music festival Wanderland 2015, as confirmed in a radio announcement on RX 93.1 on Tuesday, January 20. 

 

The outdoor music festival will be held on April 25, 2015 at the Globe Circuit Events Ground in Makati. 

Radio hosts Chico Garcia and Gino Quillamor of Monster Radio (RX 93.1)’s The Morning Rush announced the headliner on their show. 

 

Scott Mescudi, or more popularly known by his stage name Kid Cudi, is an American recording artist and actor. He’s known for his singles “Day N’ Nite,” “Make Her Say,” and “Pursuit of Happiness.” He also delved into film, starring in films like Need for Speed (2014) and the upcoming Entourage film.

Aside from Kid Cudi, Wanderland will also mark the return of local alternative rock band Hale, after the group disbanded in 2010 to pursue personal projects.

Known for their songs “The Day You Said Goodnight,” “Kung Wala Ka,” and “Broken Sonnet,” the band is also one of the festival acts to watch out for.
