Boyzone coming to Manila
Details below!

MANILA, Philippines – It’s time to get in the zone with Boyzone, because they’re coming to Manila!

Members Keith Duffy, Mike Graham, Ronan Keating, and Shane Lynch will perform for Manila fans at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on May 26, as part of their BZ20 tour.

The group was first formed in 1993 and started out releasing cover songs. Their take on the Osmonds’ “Love Me For A Reason” surged them to fame.

The group split up in 1999, with some of the members pursuing other projects. Ronan Keating went on to pursue his singing career and at the same time managed other bands. His song “When You Say Nothing At All” also became a hit. Ronan also coached X-Factor Australia winner Marlisa Punzalan. (READ:‘X-Factor Australia’ winner Marlisa Punzalan sings for PH fans)

In 2007, the group reunited once more for a UK tour, which was their first tour since their hiatus. However, member Stephen Gately died in 2009 while vacationing in Majorca.

Their previous singles include “Key to My Life,” “So Good,” “Words,” and “Father and Son.” – Rappler.com
