Pentatonix coming to Manila!
This is not a drill!

MANILA, Philippines – The long wait is over – Pentatonix is finally coming to Manila! The popular a cappella group, which we’ll next see in the upcoming Pitch Perfect 2, announced the good news on their social media accounts.

(UPDATE) They’ll be playing June 6 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, but purchased tickets originally set for June 5 will be honored, according to their statement posted on Facebook:

“MANILA! Due to unavoidable scheduling changes, our show, originally on Friday, June 5 at Araneta Coliseum, has been moved to Saturday, June 6 at the same venue.

All tickets dated June 5 will be honored on June 6. We apologize for any inconvenience and cannot wait to see you in June!” they wrote.

Pentatonix won season 3 of talent competition The Sing-Off, and shot to fame thanks to their unique, precise vocals, which often mimic musical instruments closely. Members Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstie Maldonado, Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola have since enjoyed mainstream success, including best-selling albums and sold-out concerts. They also have written their own original music.

One of their most viewed videos, a medley of song by Daft Punk, has over 127 million views on YouTube.
