WATCH: Kanye West shares words of support for Caitlyn Jenner

MANILA, Philippines – Caitlyn Jenner’s documentary series I Am Cait premiered July 26 in the US (July 27 in Manila), and in it, we get a closer look at how the Kardashian and Jenner family adjusted to news of Caitlyn’s transition.

In the clip above, we also get to see Kim Kardashian’s husband Kanye West pay Caitlyn and her family members a visit, and Kanye shares a nice moment with her, sharing words of empowerment and support. 

Fans will recall that in an earlier interview with Diane Sawyer, Caitlyn first spoke publicly about her transition as well as her older life as Bruce Jenner. In that interview, Caitlyn said that Kanye was one of the ones who helped Kim adjust to the news. 

According to Bruce, Kanye said back then, “I could be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I could have the most beautiful daughter in the world, and I have that. But I’m nothing if I can’t be me. If I can’t be true to myself, they don’t mean anything.”

In this new clip, Kanye tells Caitlyn that he’s happy for her and proud of what she’s doing: “You couldn’t have been up against more; your daughter’s a supermodel, you’re a celebrity at every type of thing and it was still like, ‘F–ck everybody, this is who I am.’” (READ: Kardashians, Jenners show support for Bruce Jenner)
