See how ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ stars reacted to new trailer

MANILA, Philippines – We’re not the only ones who saw the newest Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer today – the actors in the movie itself did too, and they were brought to laughter, screams of excitement, and even tears. (WATCH: ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ new official trailer released)

Actor John Boyega, who plays Finn, a First Order stormtrooper, couldn’t catch the trailer right away because he was caught in traffic on his way home from a Lakers game.

Have I seen the trailer ? No! En route home from lakers game. It deserves a BIG screen

The “epic” trailer had John jumping and screaming. John’s character Finn is seen wielding a blue lightsaber at the end of the trailer.

Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey in the movie, also posted her reaction on Instagram. “Oh my God, it’s amazing,” she said, wiping away tears.
