Rosanna Roces announces plans to marry girlfriend
The actress talks about finding love again in an interview on 'Tonight With Boy Abunda'

MANILA, Philippines –  Actress Rosanna “Osang” Roces told TV host Boy Abunda that she’s all set to marry her girlfriend soon.

“I found my match,” the actress told Boy on Tonight with Boy Abunda, Wednesday, February 17. “Alam mo rin kung paano ako magpalit ng lalaki noon, parang nagpapalit lang ng damit… Parang may something missing. So ayun, nakita ko na iyong something missing.”

(You know how I had relationships with men before, it was like changing clothes… it’s like there was something missing. So there, I found what was missing in my life.)

According to Rosanna, she met her girlfriend when she was 15 years old, but they broke up when she got pregnant with her first child.

Rosanna shared that she met the girl again after 27 years and this time, they’re getting married.

Papakasal kami (We’re getting married),” she said.

(You know that my family is very Christian, but none of them judged me for my decision.)

When Boy asked if she was happy, she said: “I am. Obvious ba? Makikita naman sa (you can see in) outlook.”

“Plus lahat ng mali ko sa buhay, naitama ko, including ‘yung pagsisigarilyo ko na ‘di ko mawala, walang ka-effort-effort, nawala. Alam mo ‘yun?

(Plus I’ve corrected all the mistakes in my life, including smoking that I previously had a hard time stopping. I’ve stopped smoking now. It didn’t take as much effort, you know?)

“‘Pag pala itinatama mo ‘yung buhay mo, lahat ng mga bisyo mo na hindi mo gusto na nandiyan, kusang mawawala… siyempre with the help of the Lord din.”

(It seems if you straighten your life out, those habits that you don’t want, they do disappear…of course with the help of the Lord.)

Rosanna was previously married to Tito Molina. Aside from her daughter Grace, she also has a son, Onyok, with whom she has a strained relationship due to conflicts in the past.

When asked about her relationship with her two kids especially her son, Rosanna said the kids were doing all right. (As for me, my life is open to the public.)

(My Facebook is there so whatever I feel, I’ll just say it right? Or if there is a problem.)

“E, ngayon, mas okay yung relationship namin. (Now, our relationship is better.)

Rosanna said that she and Onyok have yet to talk but she knows it will happen in God’s time.

Rosanna, who appeared in a few films in the past years, will return to television in a guest role on Ipaglaban Mo on Saturday, February 20. – Rappler.com
