At a media event for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on Friday, May 13, Georgina spoke to reporters for a few minutes about her plans now that she’s married to English businessman Arthur Burnand. (IN PHOTOS: Georgina Wilson, Arthur Burnand wed in UK)

“I don’t know, I haven’t really felt [married life] yet, I’ve just been traveling and I’m here now. It was like the best day of my life, the wedding was like the best day of my life, it was so fun,” Georgina said.

Her travels refer not only to her wedding in Winchester, UK, but also to her short honeymoon (a “mini-moon,” she called it) in Spain. “I think my real honeymoon will be end of the year. I really wanna go on safari, so I have to plan that pa,” she added.

Georgina has also been traveling a lot because she and Arthur don’t live in the same country.

Arthur, 33, works for the Swire Group, and is stationed in Asia, handling the company’s businesses out of Hong Kong and Shanghai. When they were dating, Georgina would fly out to see him.

Now that they’re married, Georgina said at the Samsung event that they’re still in a long distance relationship, at least at present. “I don’t know [what our plans are, yet], people keep on asking me that, I don’t know. I can just take it a day at a time, you know, we work in different places.

“I think I also like that I have time to myself just to work and to be with my friends here, then when we are together, it’s really special, it’s like quality time all the time when we’re together. He’s coming today, he spends the weekend here often, yeah, it works.

“It’s unconventional, but it works.”

One thing Georgina seemed sure about was that she’s not planning to have a baby anytime soon. When asked, she vehemently said no.

Georgina married Arthur at the end of April, surprising many of her fans and followers. Many of her friends attended the wedding, too, including Solenn Heussaff, her cousin Isabelle Daza, Anne Curtis, Tim Yap, Liz Uy, and more. – Rappler.com
