‘Tabing Ilog’ star Kaye Abad engaged

MANILA, Philippines  (UPDATED)– Actress Kaye Abad is engaged to boyfriend former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Paul Jake Castillo. Paul Jake formally popped the question to Kaye in front of their close friends Tuesday, May 17.

“We started off as friends tapos naging (and then) partner in crime kita, best friend. Tapos hindi mo napigilan, ginawa mo akong (But you could not help it, you made me your) boyfriend,” Paul Jake said before Kaye in a video posted by blogger Darla Sauler. “Now I’d like to seal it – will you marry me?”  

Kaye, who was in tears, nodded  yes. 

On Instagram, actor John Prats, who is Kaye’s good friend, congratulated the couple.

” Congrats [Kaye Abad] napakasaya ko natupad na hinihintay mo… Engaged ka na Abaaaaad… Sure ako na magiging masaya kayo ni [Paul Jake Castillo]. Ikakasal ka sa best friend mo… Mahal namin kayo ni [Isabel Oli Prats] … May God bless the two of you. Sisiguraduhin ko na aattend ako sa wedding nyo, kung hindi ka magkuripot sa headcount. Hahaha,” he said.

(Congrats Kaye Abad I’m happy the wish you waited for came true…You’re engaged Abaaaaad… I’m sure you and Paul Jake Castillo will be so happy. You’re getting married to your best friend. Isabel and I love you both…May God bless the two of you. I’ll make sure to attend your wedding if you’re not stingy with the headcount. Hahaha.)
