IN PHOTOS: Andi Eigenmann shares awesome moments from Cannes 2016

MANILA, Philippines – Along with her mom Jaclyn Jose, director Brillante Mendoza, and the group representing the Philippines at Cannes film festival 2016, actress Andi Eigenmann had a blast in France, sharing special moments with her fans on social media. 

Andi, Jaclyn’s daughter with the late actor Mark Gil, is also part of the cast of Brillante’s film Ma’ Rosa, and she proudly stood with her mom as Jaclyn accepted the best actress award for her role in the film. (IN PHOTOS: Jaclyn Jose’s emotional Cannes 2016 win)

Glamorous Cannes is where many celebrities converge for one of the year’s biggest and most important film festivals, and aside from press interviews, red carpet appearances, and photocalls, stars can sometimes have downtime to explore the beautiful surroundings in the French Riviera. 

Last May 20, Vanity Fair named Andi one of their best dressed women at the film festival. She wore a white jumpsuit by Patty Ang for the film’s press conference. (READ: Andi Eigenmann, other stars react to Jaclyn Jose’s Cannes victory)

Andi also wore a Boom Sason dress for the screening of Ma’ Rosa. Here’s the inspiring message she posted on Instagram: 

I have had my fair share of great ups and downs in the 25 years of my existence in this beautiful world, and you see, nothing makes life way more interesting than when our dreams come true. Let me just steal a little “beauty queen” moment for myself to encourage women like me to never give up on their dreams. To make sure to never be afraid to dream BIG. Because yesterday, my life long dream has finally come true. And what’s even sweeter is that it’s only the beginning. Yes, it will never be easy, and yes, it will be very tough. Andi is part of Brillante’s movie Ma’ Rosa, where she plays one of the children who tries to secure the freedom of their parents after being arrested for drugs by corrupt police. (READ: Filmmaker Brillante Mendoza holds up mirror to Philippines’ dark side)
