WATCH: Jennifer Lawrence, John Oliver tell ‘True Confessions’ on ‘Jimmy Fallon’

MANILA, Philippines – X-Men: Apocalypse star Jennifer Lawrence and Last Week Tonight host John Oliver sat down with Jimmy Fallon to play a game of “True Confessions.”

In the game, each competitor is given two envelopes: one contains a truth, while the other is a lie. The other two players have 60 seconds to interrogate the one “confessing.”

Jennifer, who played Katniss in The Hunger Games, starts the game by claiming that she took an Ambien, a sleeping pill, before filming a scene for the movie.

“Were you sleeping in the scene?” asks Jimmy, while John thinks that it could be a fight scene “that [she] slept through.”

John later says, “It’s plausible. It’s reckless. I kinda like it. If it’s not true, I’m gonna be very sad.”

After Jennifer, Jimmy claims with a poker face, “I once wrote a song called ‘Am I Doing It Wrong?’ and offered it – free of charge – to Sir Paul McCartney.”

Like incredulous, astute investigators, the other two question him on the basics of his claim: how, when, and more. Later on, he even gives a sample performance of the song.

At one point, Jimmy tells Jennifer that she has something in her nose. She embarassingly and candidly admits on air, “Was it a booger? I felt it.”

“I think you’re gonna be a good liar,” Jimmy tells John, who goes on to “confess” that he worked in the kitchen of Buckingham Palace as a teenager on a summer job. He claims that he even once made a feta cheese omelette for the Queen.
