Arnell Ignacio up for PAGCOR position
MANILA, Philippines – TV host and comedian Arnell Ignacio is up for a position with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
In a text message to Rappler Friday afternoon, July 8, PAGCOR chairman Andrea Domingo said Ignacio is a nominee for the position of AVP for Community Relation and Services Department.
"Nominated. The board has to convene first so he can be appointed but yes, the position has been identified for him," Domingo said.
On Facebook, Ignacio shared a few thoughts about the position.
"AVP for the Community Relation and services Department.To the President , Chairman Andrea Domingo and the Filipino people hindi kayo magsisisi (you won't regret it). My wholehearted appreciation for the trust you have given me," he said.
In another post Ignacio wrote: "Pagcor isn't all about gaming. As the AVP of the Community Relation and Services Department of Pagcor we will be taking massively funded steps to improve health services, comprehensive feeding programs, completion of school buildings etc. No area will be too far from our helping hand."
He thanked his daughter, other employees, and his new boss for the opportunity.
