MANILA, Philippines – The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards is just around the corner, and it’s time to know who’s up for this year’s honors.

Beyoncé and Adele clinched the most nominations – 11 and 8, respectively. “Formation” and “Hello” go up against Kanye West’s controversial “Famous” video, and meme-worthy favorite “Hotline Bling” by Drake for the top prize.

The awards night is scheduled on August 28, Sunday (August 29, Monday in Manila) as voting has officially started.

The nominees were spray-painted on a graffiti wall by street artists from New York, with the announcement broadcasted via live stream.
