WATCH: Adele sings with Grammy-nominated fan at concert

MANILA, Philippines – Adele has regularly brought fans up onstage during her concerts, but at her August 9 show, she unwittingly invited up a Grammy-nominated singer.

Jamie Grace, a 24-year-old singer from Georgia, sang a soulful rendition of Adele’s “Remedy” on the Staples Center stage in Los Angeles. After a line, she told Adele she forgot the rest, so Adele sang along with her, with signature hand gestures to match.

Adele enthusiastically clapped along with the crowd and asked for more – “Sing some more, sing anything you want!” – so Jamie broke into her take on Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love.”

On Facebook later, Jamie said that the song was special to her parents: “The songs I chose were both two of my parents’ favorites, who were unable to travel for the show because my mom is ill. It was like I got to share a moment with them even though they weren’t there.”

Jamie’s song, “Hold Me,” was nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Song during the 2012 Grammy Awards.
