IN PHOTOS: It’s a girl for Mariel Rodriguez, Robin Padilla

MANILA, Philippines – Mariel Rodriguez and Robin Padilla are going to have a baby girl!

The couple made the announcement during a party on Saturday, August 13, where they celebrated 3 milestones – Mariel’s birthday, which was on August 10, their 6th wedding anniversary on August 19, and their baby’s gender reveal.

Throughout the night, the couple asked their their friends and family on their guesses for the baby’s gender – would it wear boots (if it were a boy) or ballet slippers (if it was a girl)?

The celebration was held at Le Jardin restaurant at Bonifacio Global City and the dinner, games, and reveal, were aired on Facebook Live through Robin’s Facebook account.

Some of the couple’s friends who were at the party were Toni Gonzaga, who is also pregnant, Rufa Mae Quinto, Grace Lee, Camille Villar, and Shalani Soledad and her husband Roman Romulo.

This has been a sensitive pregnancy for Mariel, who revealed in June that she had to rush herself to the hospital because she was unused to the baby’s movements. Mariel suffered two miscarriages in the past.
