MANILA, Philippines – Actor Paulo Avelino clarified reports that he is no longer pursuing actress KC Concepcion.

“Ang masasabi ko siguro hindi pa talaga nagtetake-off but it’s not over,” the actor said during an interview on The Buzz, Sunday, June 15.

(What I can say is it has not taken off, but it’s not over.)

Paulo, who admitted last year that he was dating KC, visited the actress in New York a few months back, where she is currently taking an acting course.

In an interview with ABS-CBN, Paulo said that one of the reasons he and KC are not formally together was because of the long distance.

KC on the other hand said that she enjoyed Paulo’s company and even told Kris TV writer Darla Sauler in a text message, which appeared in an article on Push, that she loves him.

Meanwhile, Paulo said that the cast of Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon will be facing quite the challenge, following the success of The Legal Wife, which they will replace starting Monday, June 16.

“Nakakapressure lalo na napakataas ng ratings ng The Legal Wife at parang naging controversial ang Legal Wife so sa ngayon nakakakaba din. Expect lang namin na sana suportahan ng followers ng Legal Wife ang Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon,” he said.

(It’s pressuring especially since The Legal Wife had high ratings and it became controversial so we’re all nervous. We just hope that the followers of The Legal Wife will also support Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon.)
