MANILA, Philippines – American R&B singer John Legend arrived in Manila on September 24, 2014, to continue the Asian leg of his All of Me Tour. (READ: John Legend to play live in Manila) 

He was recently seen as one of the headlining acts at the Singapore Grand Prix Season 2014, which Jennifer Lopez, Robbie Williams, the Pet Shop Boys, among others, also participated in. 

His popular single, “All of Me,” from his latest album Love in the Future, is currently at number 23 on the Billboard charts. John Legend grew up in Ohio and worked as a music director to pay his way through college. 

After working behind the scenes with many popular R&B and pop artists like Lauryn Hill, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys –Legend’s popularity soared after his collaboration with rapper Kanye West, where he sang the hooks on many of his songs.

This is Legend’s 4th studio album, since his first solo album was released in 2004. He has won 9 Grammy awards so far, and 7 singles that have breached the Billboard Top 100 charts. 

Legend’s concert is scheduled at Araneta Coliseum at 8 pm on September 26. – Rappler.com
