John Prats and Isabel Oli engaged

MANILA, Philippines – Actor John Prats has formally proposed to longtime girlfriend Isabel Oli, Wednesday evening, September 24, making them the latest showbiz couple to get engaged this year.

John surprised his girlfriend when he emerged via a flash mob dance at Eastwood Citywalk. The actress thought she was going shopping with Camille Prats, her boyfriend’s sister.

According to a report from Pep, a message for Isabel from John was shown on the video wall, followed by fireworks. From there, he knelt down and asked Isabel to marry him. Of course, she tearfully said yes.

The couple’s family and friends, including actress Chynna Ortaleza, were in attendance. Chynna posted photos on her Instagram about the proposal.

John’s sister Camille also posted photos during and after the proposal.

“The team who made this happen #johnandlivengagement,” the caption read.

The couple have been together for two years. John is a mainstay of ABS-CBN’s Banana Split, while Isabel, who used to be with GMA 7, has appeared in a number of shows in ABS-CBN including Annaliza. – Rappler.com
