Fabio Ide confirms cool-off from GF Michelle Pamintuan

MANILA, Philippines- Two days after he was revealed as the father of Denisse Oca’s daughter Danielle, actor and model Fabio Ide said he and girlfriend Michelle Pamintuan decided to take time apart from their relationship.

According to a Pep report, Fabio said that he needed the time and space for himself, following the word war between Michelle and Denisse which broke out in social media.

“Uhm…. We took a break now. I wouldn’t say we broke up na, but we… I told her I need space,” he said. “I need some time for myself. I need some time for me to put my life back on track.” 

Fabio believes that Michelle did not mean to post the nasty comments toward Denisse and her mother, actress Melissa Mendez.

Michelle’s comments have been deleted on Instagram, but Denisse later posted screen shots of text messages she received from Michelle, who said hurtful words to her, her mother, and Danielle.

“You know, when you love someone, sometimes you do stupid things or say something bad. But me, as a Christian, I forgive what she said to Denisse. And I honestly don’t believe she really mean it. But, what is said is said. And you know, I’m sure she regrets,” Fabio said.  

For now, Fabio said he would like to focus on his daughter Danielle. He also said that his parents were shocked over the news that he was a father. Despite this, they are looking forward to seeing their granddaughter next year.

“They are very proud.  Kasi (Because), my family…. I am a very family-oriented guy. And they taught me everything that I should know in life. And that’s why I’m taking responsibility for everything,” he said.

“And from the moment that I found out that I was the father, I even told Denisse, ‘You know, despite of me and you being together or not the way it happened, I just want to give her [Fabio’s daughter] the best.’”
