MANILA, Philippines – Singer and host Billy Crawford said that he has learned to take things slow, a month after he was charged by the Taguig police for malicious mischief.
“Siguro sa tingin ko (I would like to believe) I learned a few things…actually a lot,” Billy said in an interview with Boy Abunda on Aquino and Abunda Tonight, Monday, October 21. “I can’t really have a fifteen-minute conversation about this, but one thing I learned for sure is that take everything slower, slower phase.”
“So actually the person who taught me that was Coleen, that was kind of sweet,” he added.
He also said that he is still open to resuming his international career, but is very happy with his career in the Philippines.
“I definitely still think of going back but I am just really prioritizing what I am doing here, which I think people always say ‘you’re stupid for that.’
“But it’s my choice and I enjoy what i do here and I love my new family here. But I still have an opportunity and if the window opens, the door is still open, why not?” Billy said.
Billy was detained by the Taguig Police last September 7, after it was reported that he caused a ruckus at the station, hitting a door. Billy apologized for his behavior, saying that it was his fault. (READ: Singer Billy Crawford explains Taguig arrest)
