Directors talk: What to expect from ABS-CBN’s ‘Forevermore’
The series – based on the popular Side A song and stars Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano – will air starting Monday, October 27 on ABS-CBN

MANILA, Philippines – The new Primetime Bida TV series titled Forevermore, which reunites this generation’s Prince Charming Enrique Gil and leading-lady-to-watch-for Liza Soberano on the boobtube will air starting Monday, October 27.

Based on the popular song by the Side A Band, the series reunites the love team after their successful film She’s the One last year.

So what should fans expected from the ABS-CBN series? Co-directors Cathy Garcia-Molina and Ted Boborol talk about it.

Molina says she’s glad to be working with Boborol, who is known for doing soap, being behind the success of Annaliza drama series.

Tamang-tama ‘yung dramatic sense ni Ted at ang RomCom abilities ko. ‘Pag nagkita ‘yun, parang soap ‘yun,” Molina said. (Ted’s dramatic sense and my RomCom abilities are a perfect fit. When you combine them, it’s like a soap.)

OUT OF TOWN. The show is taped in Benguet and Baguio

Boborol says he loved working with Molina “because I learned a lot from her.”

“She’s a genius, especially when it comes to the romantic comedy genre. That’s why I enjoy the process because, every day, I get to learn new things from her. I still have a long way to go to be able to achieve what she has achieved, but I like the way that our directing styles complement because we like our stories to be grounded on reality.”

Molina added that the onscreen “spark” between actors Gil and Soberano had been spotted when they did the film She’s the One, with Bea Alonzo and Dingdong Dantes on the lead.

Forevermore will replace the recently concluded and hit series Ikaw Lamang and is on the timeslot right after Hawak Kamay. It is mostly shot in scenic spots in Benguet and Baguio.  Rappler.com
