MANILA, Philippines – One year after Paul Walker’s death, his friends and Fast and Furious co-stars have taken to social media to remember their beloved buddy. 

Vin Diesel took to Facebook to express continuing sadness over Paul’s death, and posted this message along with a photo of Paul with Vin’s young daughter:

Co-star Tyrese also posted a message of sadness on Facebook. “I miss my brother I miss my friend and I miss OUR STAR!!!!! Physically gone but forever alive in our minds, hearts and spirit,” he wrote. 

 

US Weekly reported that Paul’s daughter Meadow also posted an old photo of the two of them together, captioned simply, “I love you.”

 

 

Paul died in a car accident on November 30, 2013, when the red Porsche sports car he was traveling in slammed into a tree and caught fire. 

He will post-humously appear in the upcoming Fast and Furious 7 – his brothers Caleb and Cody replaced him in some scenes to help the cast and crew finish shooting the film.

The seventh installment of the popular franchise, the movie wrapped up the filming in July, with the cast releasing an open letter over Paul’s death.
