One of the highlights of the evening came when Jennylyn Mercado, who accepted co-star Derek Ramsay’s Best Actor award (for English Only, Please) on his behalf, accepted the Best Actress award just moments later.

It was a great evening overall for English Only, Please, which also won 2nd Best Picture. 

Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo was also a big winner, as was Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2.

Action star Robin Padilla, leading lady Vina Morales, Robin’s nephew Daniel Padilla were all there to support the movie.
