WATCH: Justin Bieber posts video apology for ‘arrogant’ behavior

MANILA, Philippines – Pop star Justin Bieber apologized to fans for what he called “arrogant” behavior in 2014, in a video released after his guest appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“I just wanted to make a video because I wanted to express how I feel right now. Today, I was on Ellen and it was a lot of fun. She’s amazing, it was her birthday, but I was really nervous. I think I was nervous because I was afraid of what people are thinking about about me right now.”

The singer said that he was nervous about the opinions the public had of him while he was guesting on the show, as seen in this tweet.

“I’m not who I was pretending to be. Why I say I was ‘pretending’ is often we pretend to be something we’re not as a cover up of what we’re truly feeling inside. And there were a lot of feelings going on in there. Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Just growing up in general is hard.”

But despite his behavior, he still made time to visit the victims of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) in the Philippines and performed some of his hits as well. 

Justin was in a slew of controversies over the past year, including cases of assault, a racist joke, and drug use to name a few. He was also sentenced to anger management class and was said to have been punched by Orlando Bloom. – Rappler.com
