Jamich's Jam, who died of lung cancer March 4, is laid to rest Sunday, March 8

MANILA, Philippines – Jam Sebastian of Jamich was laid to rest Sunday, March 8 at Manila Memorial in Sucat, Parañaque, following his death on Wednesday, March 4.

Jam, one half of the hugely popular YouTube couple Jamich, died of lung cancer at just 28 years old.

Wearing white, family and those closest to Jam released balloons with the words “We’ll miss you, we love you Jam.”

Before he was laid to rest, a mass was held at the Our Lady of the Pillar Parish Church in Las Piñas.

In her eulogy, Paolinne Michelle “Mich” Liggayu, Jam’s longtime girlfriend and YouTube co-star, thanked everyone for their support, including Jam’s mother Maricar and brother Yexel.

“Seven years, 7 long years na pinagsamahan na may pagbabati at away, tampuhan. Pero lahat ito nakayanan namin,” said Mich. (Seven years, 7 long years we’ve been through, with ups and downs, misunderstandings. We saw it through.)

“You’ll be forever a part of me,” said a tearful Mich, as she thanked Jam’s mom and brother. (READ: Mich Liggayu of Jamich shares Jam Sebastian’s last message to her)
