Jam Sebastian’s mom Maricar: ‘Anak, maraming salamat’
Jam's mom and brother remember his short but beautiful life

MANILA, Philippines – Maricar Sebastian posted a message for son, YouTube star Jam Sebastian, on her Facebook account Thursday, March 5, following his death on March 4 after a year-long battle with lung cancer.

In her post, she thanked the Lord for giving her a son like Jam, saying:

(Lord, I am returning to you the child you lent me. I’m returning him back to you. Thank you so much for giving me a child that I could call my own. He loved me and he faced life with everything he had. Thank you because you gave Jam the opportunity to live his dream: to be known by the whole world and to be an example to the youth.)

(He gave laughter and inspiration. My son Jam, the son who never complained. He loved me, he was good, he was respectful, he was an obedient child, he was helpful to others, generous to his friends, playful, and a loving sibling. Whatever he had – I was even known because of him, and he was never greedy.)

(Jam, I’m so grateful that you and your older brother Yexel, are my sons. I am such a blessed and proud mother. Now, you’re happy, and you achieved peace and serenity with the Lord. Jam, I miss you so much. Yexel and I love you so much. Rest now, son.)

Older brother Yexel also posted a message for his younger brother on Facebook. “I love you tol.

(I love you, bro. Mama and I love you, and I know that you’re just there with us always so you could be our angel. Thank you, because your sacrifice was so great for all the people you loved.)

Christopher Liggayu, the father of Jam’s fiancee Mich Liggayu, posted this message on his Facebook account:

“Thank you Jam for the Love. Thank you for the memories. Thank you for being a part of our Life. Heaven awaits you my son. We love you so much!”

Jam Sebastian was put on life support starting February 26, according to a post by Christopher Liggayu, the father of Jam’s fiancee Mich, on Facebook. (READ: 10 times Jamich made us smile)
