Mich Liggayu of Jamich shares Jam Sebastian’s last message to her

(He wanted me to continue the passion we both shared, which was to continue the YouTube channel we started, and that I should be strong. He said I should also continue to be positive.) 

Mich, just barely a few days after his death, said:  “Medyo rollercoaster po ‘yung feeling natin ngayon. Minsan tumatawa, para ma-lighten up yung mood, pero di po natin maiwasan siyempre na magiging emosyonal.” 

(I’m going through a rollercoaster ride of emotions right now. Sometimes I laugh to lighten the mood, but we cannot avoid being emotional.) 

Jam and Mich, better known by their couple name Jamich, wrote, edited, and directed short films with them playing different couples. They soon gained a strong following, and continued to engage fans constantly on social media. (READ: 10 times Jamich made us smile)

While there have been no recent films made, Mich uploaded the video of her surprise proposal to an already ailing Jam in May 2014. 

There had been wedding plans, but Mich had to put them on hold to focus on Jam gaining strength. “‘Yung wedding po, nagfocus po kami sa pagpapagaling sana niya, kasi gusto po namin na pag kinasal po kami na, maayos po lahat siyempre.” 

(Regarding the wedding, we focused on Jam getting better, because we were hoping that by the time we got married, all would be well.) 

Jam’s health took a turn for the worse on February 26, and he was put on life support, according to a Facebook post by Mich’s father Christopher, and sadly, he died just a few days later on March 4. (READ: Jamich’s love story, in Jam Sebastian’s own words)

Mich also revealed that there’s one more project involving Jam that fans have yet to see. The video, however, has no release date as of yet.

“Meron po kaming pending na short film, at nakapagcameo si Jam doon. Plano ko pong ituloy siya po kung kaya ko pong magtrabaho ulit. Opo, iupload ko po siya sa YouTube namin.” 

(Actually, I have a pending short film, and Jam has a cameo there. I have a plan to continue the video once I have the strength to work again. Yes, I will upload to our YouTube channel.) 

Mich also shared her personal message for Jam, saying she wished to dream of him again, this time healthy and joyful. (READ: Jam Sebastian’s mom Maricar: ‘Anak, maraming salamat’)

“Ngayon po kinakausap ko pa rin out loud si Jam. Feeling ko po kasi na kasama ko pa rin siya, ganun. Pinagpapray ko na sana mapaginipan ko siya, na makita kong masaya and healthy siya ulit.”
