Disney to make live-action ‘Winnie The Pooh’ movie
This follows fresh after reports surfaced that a live-action 'Mulan' in the works

MANILA, Philippines – Looks like we’ll get to see Pooh and his friends’ adventures at the Hundred-Acre Wood!

According to Deadline, Disney is set to make a live-action version A.A. Milne’s classic Winnie The Pooh. Alex Ross Perry will be writing the screenplay of the movie, and Brigham Taylor will be producing.

The story will revolve around Christopher Robin now as an adult, and is brought back into the world of Winnie The Pooh and the Hundred-Acre Wood.

Winnie The Pooh is the story of a loving stuffed bear named Pooh and his adventures with his friends Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga, Roo, and Eeyore, with young boy Christopher joining in. Pooh, aside from being a very sociable and loving bear, is also very fond of food, particularly “hunny,” his favorite.

There have already been several movies from the Pooh brand, like Pooh’s Heffalump Movie and The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh.

Some of Pooh’s friends also star in their own films, including Piglet’s Big Movie and The Tigger Movie.

This news followed fresh after the reports surfaced that a live-action Mulan is currently in the works. – Rappler.com
