Jared Leto as The Joker: Full look unveiled in new photo

MANILA, Philippines – Before this, we’ve only gotten a fleeting look at Jared Leto’s Joker character, but a new photo of him in his full (terrifying) get-up has been released by Suicide Squad director David Ayer. 

Take a look at this photo he tweeted:

In the photo, a barely seen Jared is holding a Nikon camera with green hair, the image resembling the cover of the Joker origin comic The Killing Joke.

A first movie cast photo was released on Friday, April 9, minus Jared.

Suicide Squad will open in theaters on August 5, 2016. 

The film, based on the DC comic book Suicide Squad, centers on a team of super villains who are given missions by the government to reduce their sentences – but they run a high risk of death while on these operations.
