Kris Aquino, Bimby visit hospital after minor car accident

MANILA, Philippines – Media personality, actress, and the President’s sister Kris Aquino took a trip to the hospital with her son Bimby after a minor car accident left them feeling dizzy from the impact.

Kris talked about the incident in two posts on Instagram. “Thank you for today @thesmstore. Bimb & I are passing by the ER to get a checkup from our doctor Doc Aye Nuguid.

“Unfortunately on our way to our shoot, on EDSA, 2 armored cars abruptly changed lanes swerving to lanes to the right, the vehicle in front of us made a sudden stop. Our brakes were good and we were all wearing seatbelts but we were bumped by the car immediately behind us. I wanted to be a professional and finish our commitment, but Bimb and I are really feeling dizzy from the impact and I want to make sure we’re both okay. #thankGodforseatbelts,” she wrote.

She then posted an update, saying that they went home to rest, and that Kris would miss her show Aquino & Abunda so that she could recover. She thanked the doctors and staff who took care of her and Bimby at the hospital.

“Thank you #DrAyeNuguid & #DrJollySantos (our emergency doctor) and all the efficient and kind staff of St. Luke’s Global. Headed home to REST. When we arrived my BP was 170/100 & Bimb’s was 130/90. We had X RAYS. And tests meant to rule out any neurological injuries,” read the caption.

“BP for me now is still elevated 140/90 (feeling muscle spasms in my neck and right shoulder), Bimb is okay na 110/70. Will miss A&A tonight, bed rest first and medicines are making me groggy. We were also supposed to surprise @praybeytbenjamin & pick him up in the airport tonight (nasa plane siya so he won’t read this), I super pressured Mabolo to create a FIERCE welcome home bouquet for him from Kuya, Bimb & me. Sayang…”

Kris is currently busy with her various shows as well as with her lifestyle blog, and has also said that she would like to devote more time to focus on her sons Josh and Bimby. – Rappler.com
